Plant Forward Eating

Plant based diets traditionally have been traditionally catagorized as vegan (no animal proteins), vegetarian (includes eggs and dairy), pescaterian (includes eggs, dairy and fish) etc… These diets all highlight items that are not included. A plant forward method of eating is inclusive, not exclusive. It is a diet that emphasizes making whole plant foods (fruits, vegetables, legumes, whole grains, nuts and seeds) the center of the plate.

The health benefits of plant forward eating are numerous. A quick google search brings up many reputable organizations and health experts in support of plant forward eating. Reduced inflammation, increased immunity and improved gut health are all documented benefits of this healthy approach to eating.
